Put in your first set of aligners
Receiving your first set of custom-made aligners is a momentous occasion. The planning is over. You have officially started treatment and your teeth immediately begin to straighten.
Settle into an easy routine
After two or three days, you will be settling into your new oral health routine. It includes taking your aligners out to eat, brushing your teeth and clipping them back in.
Changing your aligners
Around day 8 you will be changing your aligners for the first time. Brush your teeth, put in your new aligners and you are already two weeks closer to beautiful, straight teeth.
Halfway through treatment
You will have noticed your teeth becoming straighter after just a few weeks. By now you will be able to see a real difference as your teeth move towards their final position.
Treatment is over
It is time to discard those aligners and to start enjoying your fully-straightened smile. For most people, this moment will come within months of starting treatment. (Please note: Treatment times and specifics vary from patient to patient. This guide is for illustration purposes only.)
