Shannon graduated from The University of Leeds in 2020 and completed a further year of training with Health Education England - North West in 2021. 

Since, Shannon has gained experience working in multi-award winning and specialist private practices across Leeds, Dorset and London. Recently, shannon was shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards in the category of 'Dental Therapist of the year - South'. When she is not working in Private Practice, Shannon works in HMP downview female prison providing restorative treatments such as fillings.

Shannon loves to continue developing her knowledge and has attended many additional courses and conferences. To continue her learning further, Shannon will be starting her Post Graduate Diploma in Periodontics with the Harley Street Perio School in 2025. Further into 2025, Shannon will be travelling to Cambodia with the Dental charity Dentaid, to Volunteer providing Dental Care in a prison in Phnom Penh and a school for deaf and blind children in a rural community.

Shannon has vast experience treating anxious patients and loves seeing their confidence grow over the appointments. Her special interests include Guided Biofilm Therapy, teeth whitening and aesthetic composite restorations.

Outside of Dentistry, Shannon has many hobbies including painting, baking and salsa dancing. Shannon enjoys being active and cycling around London. As well as, exploring new places and finding good spots to see live music. '
